LIVING SOIL WINES 2024 RED BLEND

We sourced grapes from two vineyards in California. The Grenache, Cinsault and Counoise come from Paicines Ranch. The Syrah comes from a small estate vineyard in Los Olivos. We sourced from these vineyards due to the focus and commitment to regenerative practices and soil health.

Soil Health

By nurturing the soils microbiome, we are creating a self sustaining ecosystem, capable of greater water holding capacity, nutrient uptake and synergistic relationship with the surrounding environment. A holistic approach that focuses on soil health is supporting plant, animal and human life.

From the Vineyard to Winery

We love collaborating with everyone, from the field to the winery.

I first learned how to make wine from my dad. Growing up he would make wine in the garage. Since then we’ve had a fun winemaking journey sourcing grapes from all over the central coast.

Our first winery was in the Santa Cruz Mountains, focused on making pinot noir from the surrounding vineyards in 2004.

Our operation moved to Southern California in 2012, where we met Shaun, a brilliant winemaker.

We took hiatus from winemaking from 2014 until 2024 when we were inspired to make wine again after meeting the vineyard team at Paicines Ranch.

We are now dedicated to sourcing fruit from vineyards using regenerative or holistic practices.

The Vineyard Team at Paicines Ranch with Kelly, Colden and Matt. We have learned so much from them about the challenges and rewards of working with the ecosystem. They are dedicated to learning and teaching others about holistic management and soil health.

Shaun, our winemaker, wears many hats in the wine industry. With his degree in Enology/Viticulture from UC Davis, he is the head winemaker at Camarillo Custom Crush Winery and Owner/Producer of his own award winning label, Consensio Cellars.
